Prometheus® Copper Clay is a versatile material that allows you to create unique pieces in pure, solid copper after kiln-firing. Composed of micron-sized copper powder, water, and an organic binder, this clay behaves like metallic modeling clay: it can be molded, rolled, textured, and even worked on a potter's wheel.
It's ideal for shaping your most creative ideas, as it's compatible with cubic zirconia, pre-tested natural stones, glass beads, ceramic, porcelain, and other Prometheus® metal clays. It's also suitable for glazing .
Once fired, the binder disappears, and the result is a solid piece of copper, ready to be polished and finished to your liking. You can create everything from delicate jewelry to sculptures or decorative objects . Let your imagination guide your hands!
