Prometheus® Bronze Clay is a versatile metal clay that, after firing, transforms into pure, solid bronze . It is composed of micronized bronze powder, water, and an organic binder. Its malleable texture makes it perfect for hand shaping, rolling, modeling, texturizing, and even turning.
Compatible with a wide variety of materials such as cubic zirconia , pre-tested natural stones , glass beads , ceramic , porcelain and other Prometheus® metal clays , this clay allows you to explore without limits.

Cooking instructions
1. Charcoal method (recommended)

Step 1 : Bake the dried piece on a rack at 500°C for 15 minutes. Allow to cool.

Step 2 : Bury activated carbon in a steel container and cook for 60 minutes at 820°C.
2. Open shelf cooking

Fire the dry piece directly at 820°C for 30 minutes.

It is recommended to soak in hot water or use a pickling solution to remove rust ( firescale ).
3. Cooking with a blowtorch

Heat slowly until the smoke from the binder disappears.

Then cook until orange-red for 5–10 minutes.

Cool and clean the piece with Picklean® if necessary.
Helpful hint:
Always place your pieces at the back of the kiln, where the temperature is more stable, and be careful when handling hot pieces or using pickling solutions.
